With Journey, Google Chrome will provide a snapshot view of your browsing sessions, showing you what sites you’ve visited and what queries you’ve typed into the browser in that particular session. The new service is a way for Google Chrome to organize your browsing habits through your search history. In other words, the feature can create a story out of your browsing sessions and make them into something you can understand in an instant. It’s based on the way people browse which is that they tend to look for information on multiple websites. This is a great way to boost your productivity and make sure you have all the info you need right at hand. It will also save you time because it makes it easier for you to find what you are looking for.
Make your search easier
Google Chrome has launched a new feature called Journey that allows users to search through their browsing history in a new way. Chrome already has useful extensions but this new update will be a much-welcomed feature for those who open multiple tabs. Some people might be confused by the name of the feature and say that it is not exactly a journey since it only takes you to one destination – your search history. But as soon as you click on the Resume your research option, a sort of interactive timeline appears where you can follow your trail on that topic from any date up to now.
Your new best friend
If you’ve ever wanted to look up an article that you can’t remember the name of, but know it was about a particular topic, or if you’ve wanted to find that one article among many tabs opened during the course of a day, then Journey might be your new best friend. A key point to note is that The number of times you interact with a website has the ability to affect the results it shows. When using the History Journey, please keep in mind that you will not see your conventional Google Chrome browsing history. Google’s new feature is limited to an individual device and does not work across multiple devices. The feature will be available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, and Turkish. The feature is fairly new so we’ll have to wait and see how users interact with it and their thoughts. You can also visit our site for Google Chrome troubleshooting such as black screen to find out how to solve it. What do you think of the new feature? Does it make your browsing experience easier?
